On Thursday, Jan. 24., the Seventh Regiment Armory, a swanky citadel on Park Avenue and 67th Street, was flush with burgeoning antique aficionados at the Young Collector’s Night gala. Co-hosting the glam fete, which benefited the East Side House Settlement, was fashion power couple Mark Badgley and James Mischka. Though several young attendees did appear to be collecting away—“That armoire is simply divine, Chester!”—the sticker shock was too much to take for Mr. Mischka, who, with Mr. Badgley, had just purchased a small horse farm in Kentucky. “It doesn’t have a stick of furniture in it,” he said of the property. “But I’m a little scared to go in there—you buy one dining room table and you’ll have folding chairs around it!”
