Democrats have a 3-2 majority on the Millburn Township Committee, but the new Mayor is a Republican — thanks to a feud between Democrat Ellen Steinberg and her two colleagues. Steinberg, a former State Senate and Assembly candidate, voted to make Republican Sandra Haimoff the new Mayor, instead of James Suell, who was slated to get the job.
