Real Housewives Set for New York Spin-Off

Get ready for more fake boobs, gold digging and catty spats among cougars on Bravo. The cable channel has ordered a New York version of their popular show The Real Housewives of Orange County. The show, which originally took its cues from those skeletal suburbanites on Desperate Housewives and the cheesy glamour of The OC, will follow an "elite and powerful" group of New York socialites as they balance their work and home lives with busy calendars packed with charity fund-raising galas, social events and interviews for elite private schools, according to Reuters. The series is set to premiere on March 4.
