Brace yourselves, foodies! It’s Restaurant Week: time to scramble frantically and in vain for reservations that have been booked since last July by readers of Eater.com (Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse, anyone?), all just so we can feel we’ve properly taken advantage of this generous opportunity for culinary edification provided by the cabal of fancy chefs who rule New York, never mind that $35 is actually no small sum to spend on our co-pay at the shrink, let alone dinner, but come to think of it: Do you think the unwashed skinny musician would get out of bed and buy a tie for this?
