Sabrin announced today that he won’t field a challenger to fifth district Republican Rep. E. Scott Garrett, since he adheres to the five Republican principles outlined in Sabrin’s "Constitutional Republicans protecting the Liberty Platform.”

"While we will be fielding delegates, alternate delegates, and candidates, we stand by those candidates and elected officials who support our platform's fundamental beliefs,” said Sabrin spokesman George Ajjan. “As a result of this endorsement, we will not be running a candidate in our Bergen County line that competes with Congressman Garrett and we will be encouraging others to support Congressman Garrett's re-election."
