Camden Mayor Gwendolyn Faison denies that she endorsed Sen. Frank Lautenberg today, and says she was “hoodwinked” by a Lautenberg staffer who “unfairly turned supportive words for Lautenberg into a false endorsement.” The 80-year-old Mayor has been taking care of her sick brother, and is “outraged” over the Lautenberg campaign’s misrepresentation of her statement, and says she strongly supports Rob Andrews for the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination.
