What if Frank Hague had a computer?

Leave it to somebody from New Jersey to rig an online contest to pick the state’s Smartest Legislator. One reader developed a computer robot program to flood our online ballot box in support of Mary Pat Angelini, a freshman Republican Assemblywoman from Monmouth County. That reader cast thousands of votes for Angelini, and the percentage just slightly credible, some for her Round 4 Rival, Assemblyman Eric Munoz. Another robot did the same for Democratic Assemblyman Thomas Giblin against State Sen. Bob Gordon. Note that there is no evidence to suggest that Angelini or Giblin had knowledge of this online ballot stuffing. PolitickerNJ.com is able to tabulate the actual number of votes cast by the robot and will deduct them from the final tally.

Just remember – this highly subjective online tournament was all for the entertainment of our readers. We won’t take these allegations of voter fraud too seriously, and please, no press releases from the aggrieved parties asking the U.S. Attorney to conduct a probe!
