The Republican mayor of Larchmont, Liz Feld, just announced she’ll challenge the incumbent State Senator Suzi Oppenheimer, a Democrat. The strategy is laid out nearly in Feld’s public statement:
Invoking the formerly Republican mayor is probably the best bet for a Republican in the district, where, according to the state Board of Elections, Democrats outnumber Republicans 91,149 to 55,120, with 53,280 voters not registered in any party (just like Bloomberg).
Feld’s contact person is listed as Bill O’Reilly, the consultant who recently left the company he founded.
