The first two seasons are the top two ranked reality shows on iTunes today, so apparently quite a few people have tuned in to follow the six frat-boyesque, wanna-be masters of the universe—like former hedge funder Timothy Sykes, who famously turned $12,415 Bar Mitzvah gift money into $1.65 million from 1999 to 2002—navigate the mean streets of the financial district and engage in a fair amount of conspicuous consumption along the way.
