It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic became New York’s favorite U.S. Open celebrity and Roger Federer–well, Roger Federer stayed a celebrity! But it has and now The Observer is gearing up for another fortnight of fanaticism as the world’s eyes turn from Beijing to Flushing, Queens. (We heard there might be a few things going on in Denver and St. Paul, too, but we won’t talk about that.)
