It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic became New York’s favorite U.S. Open celebrity and Roger Federer–well, Roger Federer stayed a celebrity! But it has and now The Observer is gearing up for another fortnight of fanaticism as the world’s eyes turn from Beijing to Flushing, Queens. (We heard there might be a few things going on in Denver and St. Paul, too, but we won’t talk about that.)
So stay on top of what’s happening on the courts (and in the stands, and behind the scenes) at the New York sporting event of the year by bookmarking our U.S. Open blog, which will reopen this weekend (!) with John Koblin posting an insane number of dispatches courtside and special reports from Observer staff and special guests. Or if you’re a Web whippersnapper, subscribe to our RSS feed by finding the orange RSS logo on top of the page.
