Last night at an official welcoming party for the Republican delegates at the convention center in Minneapolis, I spoke with one of the relatively few African-American RNC delegates about why here’s here.
Lonnie Sorrell, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota said he’s a proud Republican because “their party platform is on a moral basis.” Then, referring to the Democratic Party, he said, “How can I be for a party that says it’s for killing babies and raising taxes?”
