A reader forwards these mailers being distributed in the two competitive State Senate districts in the city, paid for by the Planned Parenthood of New York City Action Fund.
The image above characterizes longtime incumbent Republican Serf Maltese as old and out-of-touch, an idea that has become something of a default for Democrats (in this case City Councilman Joe Addabbo) running at all levels this election season.
There's also a Planned Parenthood mailer going out opposing Republican incumbent State Senator Frank Padavan, who is facing a challenge from Jim Gennaro, another City Councilman. (See the mailer).
The two Queens races may be key to determining control of the State Senate, and they’re close.
