Seussville University maintains the good doctor’s longstanding tradition of irreverent teaching, presenting a full slate of activities designed to build literacy, math, science, and logic skills.
The site is populated by members of the familiar Seussian menagerie — Yertle the Turtle’s here, and Horton, and of course the Cat in the Hat. There are games to play onscreen (“count the findows in the windows”) and games to print out (connect the dots), and both kinds are fun, but parents of older children should proceed with caution. Seussville U plays almost exclusively to very young kids, and it may not hold the attention of children past the age of 4. We say: Seussville Graduate School wouldn’t be such a bad idea!
