Here’s Jim Gennaro’s second television ad, which touts his endorsements by the New York Times, Queens Tribune and Hillary Clinton.
It’s not a combination you’ll see too often.
A Gennaro campaign spokesman declined to say specifically how much money is behind the ad, only saying that it's a "significant" ad buy. (Take that for what it’s worth.)
Gennaro is the Democrat trying to unseat Republican State Senator Frank Padavan in Queens. He has advantages in money, voter registration and, presumably, presidential coattails. Padavan has longevity and enduring popularity in the district.
