According to Publishers Marketplace (subscription required), Rory Tahari—the vice chairman and creative director of husband Elie Tahari‘s eponymous label—has scored her first-ever book deal. The project, a "collection of approximately 75 checklists on topics including parenting, moving, traveling, financial planning, taking care of your home, preparing for a hospital stay, planning a funeral, and more," is scheduled to be published next September by Jennifer Bergstrom at Simon Spotlight. (Ms. Tahari is in best-selling company; Ms. Bergstrom counts among her authors Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell, Tori Spelling, talk show host Chelsea Handler, Madonna‘s brother Christopher Ciccone, and actress Melissa Gilbert.)
Ms. Tahari, who lives in Soho, had already left HQ for the weekend when we called, but we’ll update once we find out how exactly one plans a well-styled trip to the dentist’s office.
