VSL:WEB // What Walt Disney sent for Christmas

Flip through the Hollywood Animation Archive’s collection of classic Disney Christmas cards, and have yourself a Goofy little Christmas.

The Burbank-based archive has focused on cards that Walt Disney (and his staff) sent between 1938 and the mid-’50s. There’s a colorful re-creation of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” — naturally, the only creature stirring is Mickey Mouse. And in 1952, Disney took the opportunity to inform his friends that Peter Pan was coming soon. (Speaking of shameless plugs, keep an eye out for VSL:Kids, coming soon to an inbox near you!)
