Also running for that seat are Katz’s predecessor Karen Koslowitz, former Assemblyman Michael Cohen, Lynn Shulman – who lost a council race for this seat to Katz, Joseph Nocerino, who lost a race to Katz in 2005 — and Heidi Chain, an attorney with the city’s Department of Finance.
