A Newsday report that Gov. Jon Corzine is trying to rent his oceanfront home on the Hamptons this summer for $900,000 is incorrect, according to Deborah Howlett, Corzine’s Communications Director. Howlett says that the house belongs to Joanne Corzine, the Governor’s former wife, who got it in their 2003 divorce.

The gated 6,200-square-foot, six-bedroom, 5.5-bath Sagaponack home is on 6.64 acres and includes a heated gunite pool, a tennis court, and more than 500 feet of ocean frontage. It is listed the rental with Sotheby's International Realty.
