Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce (R-Parsippany) named Assemblyman David Wolfe (R-Brick Township) to the Budget Committee today.
Wolfe replaces state Sen. Marcia Karrow (R-Raritan), who was elevated from the Assembly earlier this month to replace U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance (R-Clinton) in the state senate.
“I am pleased to have Assemblyman Wolfe serving on the Budget Committee,” said DeCroce in a statement. “He brings a wealth of experience to the committee, having served eight terms in the Legislature, as well as on the Brick Township Council where he was also its president. Dave will join his fellow Republicans on this key committee who believe that it is imperative to cut spending and keep a close watch on how taxpayer dollars are being spent. I am confident that he will make a positive contribution.”
Wolfe, who works at Ocean County College and has been an assemblyman since 1992, is the Republicans’ Deputy Leader.
