Bloomberg seemed to part ways with the White House’s tentative plans to tax the A.I.G. bonuses, saying, “It is certainly true that when you stat writing tax policy or anything else in the middle of everybody screaming, you tend not to get good results.”
He went on, "It's time for Congress to stand up and say what's right, even if it's not popular."
