The executive committee of the Republican Party voted 36 to 9 tonight to allow Michael Bloomberg into the G.O.P. mayoral primary, according to one attendee who left the meeting just now in Bay Ridge.
The meeting is still going in, but this vote was the major item on the agenda. Brooklyn party chair Craig Eaton signaled earlier today that such a vote could pass.
