Here's the invite for that get-together with Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele, New York Republicans and independent Michael Bloomberg on April 1.
The invite is going out to prospective attendees today. The host committee also includes, basically, every Republican group in New York, including some which are not too supportive of letting Bloomberg run in the Republican primary.
Reading the invitation does give the impression that Bloomberg is picking up a seal of approval from the Republican powers that be. Here are the details:
