Last week, Governor David Paterson's former fund-raiser Cindy Darrison told me her effort to move her business to the headquarters of his likely primary rival Andrew Cuomo was strictly a real estate decision and in no way an indication that she intended to raise money for the attorney general. She said she needed to "line up my 2009 candidates first, and that's actually what I'm doing."
Well, all those 2009 candidates must be lined up, because Darrison is now working for Cuomo.
Maybe it is just the power of propinquity (Location, Location! Location!). Or maybe Darrison is, like many other Democrats, looking to get in on what looks like a good thing.
