Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum just left a Midtown fund-raiser for Comptroller and mayor candidate Bill Thompson.
I tried asking her what she was doing here, and if she’s supporting Thompson for mayor. Gotbaum, hurrying away, said, “I’m not saying anything. I like breakfast.”
