Ben Smith just posted the internal report (unearthed by Liz Benjamin) that David Paterson ordered when he was the State Senate minority leader.
It is not flattering.
The report is here. It makes for some interesting reading. I’m going through it now, and came across this criticism from Valerie Berlin, then the director of communications:
“The mentality is that the path of least resistance is the best. They are anti change (against change). The staff must want to get to the majority – some feel it is uncomfortable being on the other side (in the minority).”
