Chris Christie won the Cumberland County Republican Convention tonight, but the party organization is declining to release the vote tally. Christie, the former U.S. Attorney, will run on the Cumberland GOP organization line in the June gubernatorial primary.
Updated: Based on information from sources familiar with the vote counting, Christie won the Cumberland GOP convention 68-15 over former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan.
Cumberland becomes the twelfth county organization to endorse Christie, who has not lost an endorsement vote.
