At a rally on the City Hall steps just now, Jimmy Vacca criticized the administration for not disclosing which fire companies they plan to cut or scale back. (Some in Brooklyn have already been cut.)
“Those who are next may not know they are next. That is probably done intentionally,” he said.
“Whether you’re next or not, you’re next. Because if you’re not next, the company next to you will be next or if you are next, you will wait for the next company who will be there later than the company who normally would have been assigned.”
