ALBANY—A reader passed along this obituary for Margaret Titone, the mother of Assemblyman Matthew Titone, who passed away Sunday in Staten Island. She was 79.
Margaret's husband Vito, also deceased, was a judge on the state Court of Appeals. The death kept Assemblyman Titone in Staten Island this weekend, and he missed votes on the state budget.
A funeral Mass and burial will be held Friday in West Brighton.
