State Senators John Bonacic and David Valesky, the bipartisan co-chairs of the committee, wrote a letter to the leaders of their respective conferences asking for an 11-day delay, citing the fact that the legislature will not be in session during the week of April 13, due to religious holidays. Andrew Stengel, who is the committee’s executive director, provided the above letter requesting the delay.
