Tedisco Nets 8 More Votes, Now Trailing by 47; Next Up, Saratoga

ALBANY—Two of the ten counties in the 20th Congressional district have canvassed their military and overseas ballots, and Assemblyman Jim Tedisco has gained nine votes since this morning in his race to replace Kirsten Gillibrand.
The latest tally from the State Board of Elections, as of 4 p.m., has him trailing Democrat Scott Murphy by 47 votes.
The canvasses were completed in Otsego and Delaware counties, both of which narrowly went for Tedisco. His side has maintained that they expect the military and overseas ballots will favor him.
I’m also hearing that Saratoga County, the most populous in the district, is nearing the end of its counting.
