SARATOGA SPRINGS—The polls in the race to replace Kirsten Gillibrand just closed, and people are starting to trickle into the Holiday Inn here along Congress Park.
Jim Tedisco will be arriving shortly; all indications are this race is a toss-up.
“We’re expecting to win,” Kathy Marchione, the Saratoga County Clerk and a consistent presence at Tedisco events during this campaign, just told me. “Of course, everybody has been working hard all day.”
