Bridgeton mayor endorses Marchand and Shivery

Republican Assembly candidates Art Marchand and George Shivery were endorsed by Bridgeton Mayor James Begley today.

“These are tough economic times and we need the experienced, principled leadership of Art Marchand and George Shivery,” said Begley. “Both have pledged to serve as full-time legislators and their elected experience gives them the ability to hit the ground running to help create jobs and right the state’s economy.”

Marchand, the former Cumberland County surrogate, and Shivery, the mayor of Greenwich Township, are running against Dr. Robert Villare and Lee Lucas for the GOP nomination.
