Merkt and his family has loaned $42,400 to his campaign, and has spent $41,507. The largest disbursement of the Merkt campaign is $16,149 to his campaign consultant, Christopher Venis. He has reported no donors above the $300 reportable mark. He spent $2,500 on a website, and $366 on photography.
