Larry Bulman May Step Down as Saratoga County Chair

ALBANY—Larry Bulman, the Saratoga County Democratic Chairman who worked extensively to help Scott Murphy get elected to Congress, is going to Washington part-time as a union advocate and may step down as party chair.
Bulman, the business manager for Local 773 of the Plumbers and Steamfitters union as well as political director for the New York State Pipe & Trades association, just told me he will serve as assistant to the national political director of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters.
The job will require him to travel to the Washington D.C. area about one week a month, he said.
