The millions of dollars the Bloomberg campaign staff is earning to get the mayor reelected against not much opposition has reduced some veterans of the campaign business to hyperventilation.
After seeing that Bloomberg campaign manager Bradley Tusk is making about $27,000 a month to run the campaign, a reader who ran one of the 2005 primary campaigns for mayor of New York wrote in:
"I need an agent! I got $9K a month for managing that campaign. $27,000 a month with unlimited resources? I'm going to sit in a corner for a few minutes and breathe into a paper bag."
