In this clip from Ken Fisher’s tv show, City Comptroller candidate Melinda Katz says before investing pension money in a company, she’ll look at how many jobs they created in New York.
Fisher asks if New York companies would somehow be hurt if other jurisdictions applied a similar standard.
“I understand what you’re saying about other jurisdictions,” she said. “Albany may be the capital of New York. New York City is the capital of the world and we need to make sure our people are working. That’s my number one priority.”
