Important Manhattan office leases--they involve Douglas Durst and Steve Roth, after all!

Fair tidings for VORNADO chieftain Steve Roth: intellectual property law firm FROSS ZELNICK LEHRMAN & ZISSU—which has proudly repped Cab Calloway’s grandson as well as the family with merchandising rights to Winnie the Pooh—renewed its 53,000-SQUARE-FOOT lease at 866 U.N. PLAZA for ONE DECADE. NEWMARK broker MARK WEISS repped Fross Zelnick in talks with GLEN WEISS.

It must be getting serious! Developer HAL FETNER will move in with best pal DOUGLAS DURST on Thursday. More precisely, Mr. Fetner, of the Durst Fetner Residential partnership, will move into 6,756 SQUARE FEET on the 48th floor of Durst’s ONE BRYANT PARK—his space next to Durst’s own. We hear the two big men negotiated the 20-year deal themselves.

New financial firm LADDER CAPITAL, headed by UBS’s former commercial real estate guy Brian Harris, has signed a SIX-AND-A-HALF-YEAR lease at HINES’ 600 LEXINGTON AVENUE for 8,841 SQUARE FEET. JONES LANG LASALLE’s BARBARA WINTER and DOUGLAS NEYE repped Hines. NEWMARK’s JAMES SAUNDERS and NOEL FLAGG and CENTRIC REA’s MIMI HOCKMAN repped Ladder.
