Barack Obama has a 68%-25% approval rating in New Jersey – his highest since taking the presidency in January. Two-third of the state's independent voters (65%-25%) and one-third of Republicans (34%-56%) approve of the way Obama is handling his job. So do 95% of Democrats, 97% of African Americans, 72% of women, 62% of men, and 61% of whites.
