The Medical Arts Center has signed another industry tenant, in this case N.Y.U. Hospital Center, which has leased 2,094 square feet for—snooze—storage. The tenant signed a three-year lease at 317 East 34th Street, where asking rent is $30 a square foot. Adams & Co.’s David Levy represented both the tenant and landlord The Feil Organization in negotiations.
Law firm Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles is moving even further downtown, trading its Class B digs at 30 Vesey Street for 6,500 square feet at the fancier, Class A 61 Broadway, signing a 10-year lease for part of the 20th floor. Asking rent for the 6,500-square-foot space was $40 a square foot. CB Richard Ellis’ Sam Seiler and Gerry Miovski represented the tenant in negotiations with landlord Broad Street Development’s David Israni and Mona Huegel.
The oddly named Cruthin Capital has signed a six-year lease for 5,565 square feet at Capstone Equities' 14 Wall Street, where the asking rent was $42 a square foot. CB Richard Ellis was on both sides of the negotiating table, with James Searl representing the tenant, and Jonathan Cope, Brad Gerla and Michael Higgins representing the landlord.
