Attention, all doodlers! We’d like to introduce you to Odosketch—the very fun, very easy and, best of all, very free flash drawing application that allows you to create sketches on a digital canvas with just a few clicks of your mouse.
Odopod, a digital branding agency in San Francisco, created the application for Adobe aiming to “recreate the decidedly non-digital experience of working with a sketchbook.” And they’ve succeeded; even the most technophobic among us shouldn’t have any difficulty maneuvering through color selection and brush size, then sketching with precise accuracy. There’s also a playback feature that re-creates one’s work from blank page to complete drawing, showing the artist’s every brushstroke (including erases and do-overs). And if you’re looking for inspiration, be sure to browse through the Design Gallery—since its inception in 2005, Odosketch has saved more than 22,000 drawings. Get clicking!
