On CNN, Larry King asked Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 if Jon was a good father. “He is,” said Ms. Gosselin. “Why the pause?” said Mr. King. “His decisions right now are not ones that I would necessarily make,” she replied.

Rush Limbaugh called in to Fox News to speak with Glenn Beck about, among other things, President Obama’s F.C.C. “diversity czar.” 

Carl Probyn, the stepfather of Jaycee Lee Dugard, talked to MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer about what he felt like when police rescued his stepdaughter from captivity this week, 18 years after she was originally kidnapped. “It’s like winning the lotto,” said Mr. Probyn. “It was just unbelievable. After 18 years, I never expected this.”

And on E:60, Plaxico Burress gave ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap a tearful blow-by-blow description of the night he accidentally shot himself in a Manhattan night club. “I’m walking up the stairs,” said Mr. Burress, “and I miss a step …”
