Here’s an invitation for Representative Greg Meeks’ annual congressional award gala on October 2 in Queens. Among the honorees is Patrick Gaspard, Obama’s political director.
Both Meeks and Gaspard are reported to have carried the message from Barack Obama to David Paterson telling him not to run next year.
The event is a fund-raiser for Meeks, with tickets ranging from $75 to $750.
