Christie’s $702 limo bill

You have to wonder what Christopher Christie was thinking in September 2004 when he charged the taxpayers $702 for limousine service between Newark and Atlantic City, where he was attending a dinner for the County Prosecutor’s Association of New Jersey. Christie was already being mentioned as a potential statewide candidate at that point, and he had to know his travel voucher might surface on the Internet someday. Millennium Radio’s Kevin McArdle asked Christie about the expenditure, and the GOP gubernatorial candidate said he didn’t recall traveling by stretch limo to the Taj Mahal.
