Looks like The Times thought better of its headline “Bad Economy Weighs on Corzine and Christie in New Jersey.”
You can see that one along the top toolbar in the screenshot, but the new headline over the two pictures–which do kind of give the impression that Christie’s much-discussed girth is bearing down on Corzine–has been revised to read “Sputtering Economy Looms Over on New Jersey Race.”
Maybe it’s just me, but shouldn’t the “on” have gotten excised in the revision? Perhaps the change was made in haste.
In any case, you’ll notice there’s an ad for Natural Hair Growth too, so the jokes aren’t all on Christie.
