Michael Bloomberg’s campaign spokesman responds to President Obama endorsing their opponent, Bill Thompson, basically calling it a typical partisan move.
“We’re not surprised that the President supported the nominee of his party,” said Howard Wolfson. “That’s to be expected.”
“As the White House said today, the Mayor and the President have had a good relationship and the Mayor looks forward to continuing to work closely with the President for the good of all New Yorkers on issues like health care, the economy and terrorism.”
