ALBANY—Ellen Malcolm, the founder of EMILY’s List, will attend a fund-raiser for David Paterson next week at the home of Sally Minard.
“Governor Paterson is a friend and I’m happy to do this event for him,” Malcolm said through a spokesman.
The $250-a-head fundraiser features Michelle Paige Paterson and is billed as a “Women for Paterson” event. Malcolm’s name was added to the top. EMILY’s list is a national organization that supports pro-choice female candidates.
Malcolm’s attendance doesn’t represent an endorsement by the organization, the spokesman said.
