Well, the day has finally arrived. Tomorrow is Election day and the day that the only poll that counts is taken.
If polls are correct, the results will be late in figuring out who our next Governor will be.
Much has been written and little of it has been complimentary to any candidate and or their supporters. This election will probably go down as the nastiest in NJ Political history.
We have seen the emergence of a viable 3rd party candidate proven by the fact thatone campaign has chosen to attack a person with less that 10% of the polls conducted. The bottom line is very simple for tomorrow: VOTE!
No matter how good or bad you feel about the candidates, no matter how angry you may be, please take the time to exercise your constitutional right and civic duty and go out and vote.Do not let anyone twist your arm into voting for someone you don’t really support.
Vote for who you want to vote for, but vote. The3 major candidatesrunning have things no one agrees with, but they have put themselves out there and have taken time away from their families. They at least deserve the courtesy of you taking time and casting a vote for one of them.
If you do not vote, you are leaving the choice of who becomes the next governor of NJ to someone else because you did not make your choice known by voting. I can only implore you, once again, to vote.
Do yourself and all of New Jersey a huge favor and let your voice be heard and be sure to vote tomorrow for the candidate of your choice. Even if your candidate does not win, at least you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you made your choice known.
You are not doing this for anyone else. You are doing it for yourself and that should be all the motivation you need.
Oh and vote no on question #1. Good idea gone very wrong and there is no reason to give the government more money to mis-spend.
