Comptroller-elect John Liu isn’t too concerned about all those hidden accounts that are coming to light lately.

His spokeswoman, Sharon Lee, emailed to say, “These accounts should be reported to the Comptroller’s office. For the most part, they are likely to be innocuous. But the Comptroller-elect will be very concerned about accounts holding millions of dollars, which may turn out to be not-so-innocuous in the long run.”
