Gloucester County Republicans are going into war mode over the scathing 66 page report issued by the Office of the Inspector General that slams attorney Michael Angelini, the Democratic county chairman, for having a dozen part-time public jobs over the last 27 years to accrue a six-figure pension.

“It’s almost like the lights were turned on and the roaches are running,” said Gloucester County GOP Chairman Bill Fey.

Fey said he’s organizing an emergency meeting with his party’s executive directors tonight to discuss the report.

When told of the report in a phone interview with PolitickerNJ.com, Fey, who was driving while talking on a hands free cell phone device, joked that he “almost veered off the road.”

Angelini could not immediately be reached for comment.
