A complete, free compilation of the greatest, cheesiest B-movies

With apologies to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, sometimes the only thing better than watching a good movie is watching a deliciously cheesy one. With this in mind, we’d like to direct you to AMC’s “BMC,” a Web site devoted to B-movie classics, compiled and available for free download.

The masters of the genre are all here—John Carpenter, Roger Corman—and divided into easy-to-navigate subcategories. If you’re in the mood for a scare, try 1965’s The Horror of Party Beach (synopsis: “Hot-rodders and motorcyclists at a beach party are attacked by radioactive mutant monsters—but will the police believe their story?”); or for comedy, Raquel Welch in her film debut, in A Swingin’ Summer; or—probably the best in B-movie fare—for sci-fi, Invasion of the Neptune Men. Whatever your B-tastes, bikinis or aliens or sea monsters, trust us, you’ll find it here.
